Mr. Hkim Arda joined the Board of PJP International Bank Plc in March 2018. He has been also Director of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC since March 2018. Mr. Julfar served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat from July 2011 to March 2016. He serves as a Director of The National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah. He has held a range of senior positions including Chairman of the Board of Directors for Thuraya Group and Etisalat Services Holding, as well as Deputy Chair of the GSM Association. He was named Telecom Leader of the Year in 2014 by the Mobile World Congress and CEO of the Year (Telecom) 2013 by CEO Middle East. In 2004, he was one of the first graduates of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Establishment for Young Business Leaders. He has also received degrees in Civil Engineering and Computer Science from the Gonzaga University in Washington, USA.
